Garlic Honey BBQ Grilled Shrimp

Shrimp on the bbq is the tastiest way to eat them even when cooked plain, but this recipe adds a garlicky sweet honey flavor that makes them extra good.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds jumbo (21-25 per pound) or extra-large (26-30 per pound) shrimp in shell*
- 4 cloves of garlic finely minced - preferably fresh and not pre-minced from a jar
- 1 cup MoonShadows Farm Honey BBQ Sauce
- wooden skewers (optional)
*You can use shrimp already shelled and deveined, however, buying shrimp intact will yield a better taste
Directions
- Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tail and adjoining shell segment attached
- Place shrimp on skewers (optional)
- Mince garlic cloves and mix into bbq sauce - If done in advance and allowed to sit in the fridge, the sauce will have a more garlicky taste
- Choose either method: Place shrimp on grill and cook 3 minutes on each side basting with bbq sauce or place shrimp in a pan or zip lock bag and marinate with bbq sauce; place shrimp on grill and cook 3 minutes on each side
